TRUST - LOVE - PROFITS

How to convert fans into customers for life.

Think of someone you love to do business with. Someone you follow, admire, and buy from - whenever and whatever they sell. Even when times are hard, forcing you to skip buying the organic guacamole from Whole Foods, you still buy from them. Have you ever stopped to wonder why? Is it the way the light hits their face? The way their website looks? Or does it have something to do with their words…

Trust

Your goal should be to build trust with your audience through vulnerability, honesty, authenticity, and emotion. We buy from brands we trust, right? You can become that brand to your audience - all you need to do is stay consistent and offer the one thing all humans crave most - interaction.

Let's just say you're an online business coach, and you specialize in helping budding entrepreneurs develop their brand strategy from end to end.

Swimming in a sea of other people who do the exact same thing you do, you're determined to find a way to get noticed. Tapping into your personality with the words you write is a great place to start - but once you've got their attention, you've got to hold it. How? By feeding them hero content that's relevant and engaging to their current situation.

Meeting them where they're at and adding value to their lives goes a long way in creating a bond based on trust. That way, when your audience is ready to pull the trigger on hiring a coach, they'll think of you first.

Love

It's much easier for us to love someone if we trust them first. That's why making our audience fall head over heels in love with who we are as a brand is essential. We want our customers to buy from their hearts, not their minds.

Put away the chocolates and flowers - that's RomCom rubbish that doesn't work in real life. If you want someone to fall in love with your brand, you've got to show people you're listening and care. That means answer comments, be attentive, and take a genuine interest in their personal well-being.

For example, you know most newbie entrepreneurs have no idea how to start building their seedling of a business. They need a lot of help, and you're just the person to help them. But instead of deep diving into all the benefits of your proven blueprint, focus on the thing blocking them from figuring it out on their own.

What's the real reason they haven't moved forward? Could it be a confidence issue? Lack of biz-besties to talk it out? Past business failures? You won't know until you do some market research. But once you figure out the WHY behind their pain point, you can focus on solving it by sharing a practical HOW TO to fix it.

By dishing out free information, you've shown the audience you're not just in it for the money or glory - you're doing it to help more people achieve greatness in their own right.

And a freebie can be anything from a web class or eBook or live Q&A session - as long as it moves the dial on their progress, you'll soon find a place in their heart. #BrandLove4Life

Profit

When you're working hard on creating a relationship based on Trust & Love with your audience, leave the hard pitch at the door. The 'gram or Facebook are perfect platforms to rub elbows with the people you'd love to work with and provide them real answers that give them actual results - not hard sell 24.7.

Remember, people crave human connection above all else - answer that call first, and profits will naturally follow.

When people trust you and love you, they buy more frequently and in higher quantities. You can't force these feelings, but you can bring them into existence through consistency and brand authenticity. All that really means is, remain human online and think of others first. Do that, and you'll turn raving fans into loyal customers over and over again.
