Remove The Ick Factor From Emails

How often do you email your list?

I have the “you should be showing up in your customers inbox three days a week, minimum” conversation with multiple people a week. Maybe its because my dream peeps are a little gun shy when it comes to showing up in their clients inbox? Or maybe they’re comfortable with it, but aren’t really sure how often they should be showing up. No matter why you’re not showing up in your customer’s inbox more often, you need to start. Right now.

Look, you should leverage the email addresses you have, but don't abuse them - because if you tap that resource just right, you can make a shit ton of money. At minimum, email marketing has the ability to generate one-third of your revenue.

Using the email privilege just right

Because thats what it is. A privilege. Someone gave you their email address to stay in touch, entertain or educate them - not spam the hell out of them with gaudy graphics and spammy sales.

A good number of people are downright against sending their list emails once a month, if at all. Why? Because when they hear "email marketing," they immediately get visions of spammy graphics and price cuts in big, bold text filling their client's inbox.

First of all, no. False. Thats not what I’m talking about. Someone who had their email address abused that privilege.

Second of all, this perspective interests me. I get why small business owners (my kind of people) are against that style of email marketing - its because it feels gross and impersonal. Their small business is anything but gross and impersonal.

So they're in a unique position to start using email marketing as a strategy to bring in more money. When you do it right, sending emails to your list can bring in 1/3 of your business's revenue. ONE-THIRD.

It's a proven marketing strategy that increases your profits & is relatively cheap.

If you're thinking… "Doesn't everyone hate emails? Who even checks their inbox anymore?"

Fear not! There's still a large percentage of the population that loves to read emails from their favorite businesses. Why? Because those businesses found a way to personalize their approach, build a relationship turned a friendship with their list, thus making emailing them less awkward.

Every industry is capable of doing this.

Every list can come back from the dead, no matter how long it has been in the ground.

Every business can turn customers into fans into friends using the email marketing strategy.

Imagine how big of a difference bringing 1/3 of your revenue through email marketing would do for your business.

Till next time!
